The woman and her rescued brown bear love to go fishing together

Meet the Archie Brown Bear and his human/fishing friend Veronica Ditchka, they enjoy spending time fishing together in the jungle.

Archie was rescued from a safari park two years ago, and since he cannot be left in the wild again, Veronica treats him like a pet.

Their tender relationship is captured by a photographer showing the couple spending time together in a fishing boat.

The pictures show them sitting together waiting for a fish and hugging each other happily in one place.

Veronica, with her fishing rod in hand, waits for a fish to graze, while Archie sits beside her.

“He sees me as a member of his family, we share food, [he] sleeps on my lap in fear, and hides behind me,” Veronica said.

“We rescued him from the safari park but could not release him in the jungle as he had spent his life in captivity.”

Archie spends every day with us and is obsessed with water. He loves it when I take him to new places, so this shoot was fun for him!
